Carol Dreibelbis is a U.S. Policy and Research Analyst at 1,000 Days. Carol supports the organization’s advocacy strategy related to domestic food policy, health policy, and caregiving.
Previously, Carol was a Nutrition Consultant and Project Coordinator serving the U.S Department of Agriculture’s Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion. In this role, she led evidence review projects to inform federal policy and programs, including the expansion of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans to include comprehensive dietary guidance for women during pregnancy, infants, and toddlers. Carol has also worked on issues related to nutrition, public health, and education with the Partnership for a Healthier America, the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, Hanover Research, and the Character Education Partnership.
Carol completed her Master of Public Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
