Blythe is the Chief Strategy Officer at 1,000 Days. In this role, she will help grow the organization’s influence and shape the national dialogue with media, policymakers, partner organizations and parents. Executing the organization’s strategic plan, Blythe will support fundraising, strategic planning, business development and a broad content strategy on issues related to food, nutrition, maternal, infant and young child health and development in the first 1,000 days.
Prior to joining 1,000 Days, Blythe was the Chief Marketing Officer at the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), a nonprofit focused on creating better food and more movement for all families. Prior to PHA, Blythe held progressive leadership roles in marketing and philanthropy at the American Red Cross National Headquarters, The Nature Conservancy and Kansas Health Foundation.
Blythe received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University. She lives in Arlington, VA, with her two sons.
