Andrea Beegle is the Deputy Director of Strategic Partnerships at 1,000 Days. Her passion and experience is to connect people to the world’s most pressing issues in fun and impactful ways. Andrea joined 1,000 Days in 2013 after most recently working at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) where she was focused on building public support for maternal and child nutrition.
Prior to entering the nutrition community, Andrea worked at the United Nations Foundation where she managed marketing partnerships for the Nothing But Nets campaign, a grassroots fundraising and advocacy campaign to combat malaria in Africa. She also has a background in sustainable development through her work at the National Geographic Society and continuing at the United Nations Foundation.
Andrea studied Mass Communications at the University of California, Berkeley where she focused on the fusion between popular culture and charity.
